The top and the rising back panel are in “Travertino” marble.
The particular shape of the rising panel creates a contrast with the linearity of the kitchen, to give a dynamicity to the whole composition.

The weathering reproduces all the technical imperfections of the old age, as like the woodworm holes, the varnishing scratches….
The varnishing is the result of several hand spreading of a pigment blend that is necessary to grant a more natural and durable colour to the surfaces.
The last spreading is made of some natural waxes of high quality.
The result of this working phase is the same procedure used from the decorators in 1800. |
